Surrounded by a National Park in the historic town of Yerranderie is this 1279sqm (approx) block of land.
Yerranderie was formerly a silver mining town of 2000 people. The town was cut off from direct access from Camden by the establishment of the Warragamba Dam and Lake Burragorang in 1959.
The town is now accessible mainly by dirt road from Oberon approximately 70 km to the west. Another route passes through Oakdale, but that road is closed to public access as it passes through a water catchment area.
The only evidence of a previous dwelling on this block is the rubble of a previous brick fireplace. This property is zoned E3 which is used to zone private land for environmental conservation. It is less restrictive than E2 and does allow for a dwelling. (subject to council approval.)
